Been Busy

It is that time of year where i work on the annual parade of homes. It consists of the contractor not getting the house close enough to finish and then doing 4 months of work in 3 weeks to make the opening day of the parade! This means i work as long as i can, go home, sleep, wake up and go back to work. Some days are 12 hour days and a few have been 20 hour days but most are 14-16. Well, last night i finally got my 2500 sqft of flooring finished! Good thing as the parade opens on Friday, tomorrow!

That being said, i am looking forward to slowing down a bit, taking the dog and boat out and making layouts! I hope everyone is having a good summer and counting down the days until there is a cold crisp wind and birds on the wing!

Finally got the Big Brother done as well as some clothing for our open water gear line as well as some hull ride decoys.Even got my new dog”SOGGY” he is an AWS. Been very busy

D3TV “FOWL WEATHER

I got to sit down and watch an hour of Jeffs new dvd last night. I was very eager to receive it and now that i have it i could not be any happier! SUPERIOR job Jeff and Tim. My hat goes off two the both of you. Can wait to get of the computer, make some nachos and go watch a few more hours of it!

A little testing

Took the Gsl out and floated it today! It worked like it is supposed to.

Took out the Little Buddy and tried it out with a few dogs. It worked good but still need to work on a couple of things,Splashguard, hydro turf the sides for entry. This should be a dang good dog boat for calm water and epic when it has the camo cover for it in areas with cover!

The GSL

Finally got the Gsl from mold to a product. We took the Appartion and took the  gun door out of it and added a permanent splashguard. This is the second boat to our line up and have 2 more we will be adding in the next few weeks.  We are waiting on the “Hull Ride” decoys to be manufactured and will be showing them off here in the next week or two. Its going to be a long off season thats for sure!

A good day.

I received a good phone call this morning. I put a down payment on a dog that i have wanted for years a few months ago. Well, today it was born. 6 more weeks and i will be the proud owner of a American Water Spaniel. I got first pick of the litter and I am getting a male. I already picked out his name and hope he fits it,”SOGGY”!

On a side note, we put the deck and hull together on the”Little Buddy” today. Should have it out for testing on Thursday, if so, i will post some pics of it in action.
